Day 1 of the 10 Lakhs in 100 Days Challenge

Day 1 of the 10 Lakhs in 100 Days Challenge:

This is the Day 1 of the 10 Lakhs in 100 Days Challenge. Today is 18 June 2025. I only got the idea to do this challenge in the evening. I have no savings. My life is kind of miserable. I feel left out. I rarely go to meet someone. Is that why I thought of this challenge? Not really. As I said in the last post, this challenge was supposed to be done in some sort of way years ago. But I failed to even stick with it.

Then why did I think of doing this challenge?

I did cold outreach, occasionally sending messages like “Hey, I am a freelancer. Do you want a website?” or a banner image saying “Get a website for the cheapest price ever!” I got some replies and many nos. I even got one or two good responses. But the freelancing part was bad in the last 6 months. This is definitely because of me, but it still hurts even though I know it.

Inconsistent Income:

I registered on Upwork and Fiverr years ago but haven’t gotten a single client. It is not surprising considering I don’t have great works to show off. Also, there is a huge competition in the marketplace. So, it is nothing but expected. But, out of nowhere, I got two messages after I republished my gig. Yay! Two prospects. No, those are bots for phishing. Then I got a real inquiry from someone in Texas who owns a hair salon. I thought this would come through, but she didn’t even respond to my reply. Might have gotten a better deal. Which I have no idea how, considering I am giving it dirt cheap. As someone said in a video, whatever the price you give it for, there is always someone who can give it cheaper. You might think, well, what if I gave it for free? It still holds true because, let’s say you are doing tailoring services for, let’s say, 100 rupees, which is nothing; there is a high chance someone is ready to do it for free out of passion.

Pricing issue in service industry:

In the service industry, this holds very true, mostly not out of passion but desperation. I do the same too. There is nothing we can do about it but to get through it somehow. Some might say it is not the way to go, but I disagree. Because if you are a greedy bastard like me, you want it all in the least amount of time possible. On the other hand, it is also true such businesses are a requirement for the advancement of certain fields. Wait, what were we talking about again?

Flashback:

Yeah, how did I come to this challenge? So, a year ago this challenge was supposed to happen with three other digital marketers, but it failed and didn’t see the third day, I think. Then another reason is I want to get something going for me that I can say, Yeah, I do this for a living. Digital marketing is that thing for me where there are so many modules and fields and verticals that you can just keep learning about. If I managed to make a good amount of money, or, like Jon says, “f you money,” who cares what others think about it?

Questioning life choice:

Yeah, about that decision, I was questioning my life choices, and someone who reached out to me months ago contacted me and gave their number to call. I called them and pitched a different proposal than what I approached them for, which is a marketing mistake, I think. He asked about what I pitched for, and I quoted a cheap price. Then he said, Give me a week to think about it. Yeah, it doesn’t work like “Yeah, let’s go”; it mostly gets messed up. What I am trying to say is that business is a long game. Inquiries like these will be the reason your business keeps going.

Is 10 lakhs in 100 days a Get rich quick scheme?

The challenge may be 10 lakhs in 100 days, which is like a quick-rich notion, but the idea is to shoot for the stars and land on the moon, something like that. You get the idea. So yeah, that is the reason. Just be in the market, get better, get in, get rich, and get out.

Now to the main part,

how are we going to make this 10 lakhs?

You must have a product/service first. It can be single, double, package, or whatever, but it has to be one single offer. So, we can iterate and get better. Then the price. Honestly, it can be anything. You can go for a really cheap offer that is a no-brainer, a usual-priced offer, and a premium offer for niche clients. For 10L, you can do 200×5,000 for a cheap offer, 100×10,000 for a usual one, and 10×100,000 for a premium one. It is up to you what you choose. If you are a beginner, go for the cheap and get better, then go for usual or premium. I have done some repetitions. I am not good, but I know basic stuff, so I will go for the usual. Of course, you can have other products or services that bring revenue, but this should be your main focus.

Alright, see you in the next post.
